I don't 100% agree with the entire process they have going though. Yes, by proceeding this way through saving 12 year old girls they will reduce poverty monumentally. However, men run the culture. Men are (supposed to be) the leaders. If you want to spiritually change a community, the men must be on board as well. I would love to see another organization that is specifically based on helping men become MEN work in partnership with The Girl Effect.
