Friend Surprise!

My friend Ryan came back to town to visit and we got to hang out a lot today. It's been four months since I've seen him, so it was awesome to just catch up and hang out. I had already taken my picture though, so we didn't get shots together. Maybe tomorrow though, we'll both be on campus!

SUPERBOWL!

Yes, I went to a party. No, I didn't take pictures. Lame, I know. It's situations like tonight where I wish I had a nice point and shoot so it's easy to take pictures and not annoying. So I re-created my face back at my place when I found out the Steelers lost.

Not my best, I know. But hey, it's my 365. And it's a rest/party day.... if that even makes sense.

Anyway, sorry to my friends who are Steeler's fans. It was a good game. I'm not even usually a Packer's fan at all, I'm a Raven's fan; but since my team and the Steelers are big rivals I couldn't make myself root for them. And yes, I am a girl and I semi-follow football. I'm awesome, I know. :)

Up Before Six... on a Saturday

Why was I up before six? Because my friend Marshal is directing a short video and we had a dress rehearsal today. The only time he could get the location was from 7:00-9:00, and I picked up my friend Brittney who is the main character. She's hilarious, I really can't wait to see how this is going to turn out. It'll be really funny, that's for sure!

Anyway, I went to work out right after, but I managed to sneak in my self-portrait before changing clothes. Tri-pod less, whoo!

Love the colors in this. And mirror shots can be hard to pull off with both angles. I'm so glad I caught this before sweating up a ton. Gross.

Hat

I wore this hat the entire day today. Normally I'm not a hat person at all, but I just couldn't resist! I got a lot of comments today. Most were, "I like your hat!" One was, "Wow, you're wearing a fun ensemble today." Haha that was from my theater professor, he was funny.

Script-Writing Brain storming session!

So my friend Shawn is crazy talented. Like, way more talented than me in SO much. He can act, sing and dance, compose music and dun dun na na! Write amazing scripts (Sorry ladies, Shawn is single no longer. I know, I know).

I've written a bit about what my major is and what I want to do (here, here and here) on this blog, and script-writing is definitely a big part of that. I will randomly come up with a lot of fun little video ideas and want to write the script for them. I started talking about this one idea I had to a few guy friends, and one really wants to direct it. But since there are already a few specific videos I am concentrating on this semester, I really did not want to take it on. So I told Shawn about it and he stepped up and volunteered to write it out! I can't wait to see where he takes my little idea. Hopefully this will happen, because that would be SO FREAKIN' AWESOME!
Anyhoo.... Shawn and I, hard at work?

Did you catch the weather?

Today was so beautiful where I was. Apparently half the country is covered in snow right now, but we hit a high of 60 earlier. Crazy. It was really windy though, I walked from main campus back to my car and I had to lean into the wind just to keep moving forward.
And for today's picture, I had to praise God for making Golden hour so perfect. :)

Pondering... with Chamomile

We were created to be creatures of habit. We create routines for ourselves that could be good, or could be very bad. I admit to creating both. However, one of my favorite routines I have is drinking tea every day (unless I'm out). Sometimes it's Green Tea in the morning, sometimes it's Chamomile at night. Sometimes, it's even both. I chose both today, and hopefully ending with Chamomile will calm me down enough to sleep.

Anyway, when I drink tea I like to take the time to think. About my day, about God, about whatever is going on in the (or my) world. Hence the tagline, "Pondering with Chamomile." Sounds like a TV show, doesn't it?

What's a habit you like to keep up with?
