Don't feed the model!

Sorry, I had some friends help me choose which picture to post and that was the caption they all kept saying. This picture then started a conversation about bodies and how models really do need to eat more. I'm sorry, but being too skinny is just not attractive. Women are meant to have curves. Yes, you can take that statement too far... But I believe there is a healthy weight and that women should be more comfortable in it.

I don't know, it's just a saying I thought when I looked at this picture. I did a whole bunch of serious poses... and then decided to try something new. So the picture I'm posting tonight is actually a picture of my face as I'm basically laughing at myself. I guess it's more of a "making fun of myself" pic than anything else. Sometimes you just have to be willing to do that. More and more I realize how important it is to have the ability to not take yourself to seriously. It's hard though. I always want to look good. But sometimes the mistakes turn out even better than what you planned!

Frozen Yogurt time!

I worked hard today. But it was good work. I wore a cute dress and everything. So I treated myself to a fun time at this adorable little shop that is a frozen yogurt bar. It's so amazingly delicious. Tonight was my first time going, but I had heard so much about it that I knew I needed to go asap.
I got cake batter with brownie bites and fresh strawberries on top. YUM.

Puppy Chow!

Nom nom nom. After getting a ton of homework done today, I went out to dinner at Golden Corral with my friends Charles and Sarah. Man I ate WAY too much. It was so good though.
But anyway, I then dropped them off back on campus and then got a bit more work done. Then I had just enough time to make it over to my friend Sarah's for a quick movie night. She had puppy chow, and once again, I ate too much.

Btw, we watched (500) Days of Summer. SUCH a good movie. I ended up relating pretty well to Summer, people were saying she was mean and whatnot, but I liked her. She was just being herself, and she did warn him... Anyhoo, I highly recommend it!

Soft light

My picture today is pretty different I feel like. I used a different light source than normal, and I really like the results. I've used this before, but changed the coloring to more blue. I was living in the dorms last year, and lighting there was really difficult for shooting most of my pics. But with this focused light, the coloring just made everything really soft and defused. Love it!

And... I'm off to wash up for bed. I love this actually wanting to go to bed before midnight thing. Make concentrating on school work much easier! Not as focused as I want to be yet, but I'm getting there.

Tea Kettle

Going to bed as soon as this post is up! I would have already been in bed, but I did a script read-through tonight and I'm pretty excited about it. I have a small part, but basically... I get a death scene. It's going to be EPIC! But they have to re-work the script a lot, so we spent a good amount of time just talking ideas and stuff tonight. Hence why I am running so late.
