Getting hit by the procrastination bug

Oh yes. Mid-terms are here and the procrastination bug is on the prowl. I should have done my picture way earlier today. But no... I put it off and am now seriously regretting it. I have kind of been doing the same thing with God recently as well. It's not intentional, but my spiritual walking has pretty much come to a stand still. I'm working on it... tomorrow.

It is getting way too cold, way too fast here in VA. I love Fall, but brrr I hate the cold! I'd rather take heat any day of the week. And unfortunately, because it is getting so freakin' cold way too fast, the camping trip I really wanted to take might not happen now. Booo.... But, I guess this is real life, and nothing ever goes according to plan. Anyway, I was able to brave the chilly weather and take a pic outside in my school's courtyard!

Ok, I'll admit. I'm pretty beat today, and as such... my picture is pretty boring. I missed the sunlight today just due to thinking about other things and putting off taking my self pic until 8. I know, I fail.

I guess it's not completely awful though, just more like what I used to do in the beginning of this project. Sad day, I must improve!

 However,  do absolutely ADORE my outfit. I'm wearing a short purple dress with long sleeves which by itself looks awful, but I wore a long shrug type thing that broke it up really well, and then I wore my skinny jeans I bought over Spring Break. So weird that I can even pull off skinny jeans. <3

SO I have been crazy busy all weekend and have barely been on my computer. Maybe I didn't make time to post everyday because I didn't have my personal camera, but mostly it was because I would take my picture later in the day and then wouldn't come back to the apartment until two (or four) in the morning... leaving me exhausted and just crashing instead of updating. And I was pulling marathon days too, where I worked on Friday and Saturday, then spent a ton of time with my family on Sunday. Unfortunately, I was stupid and didn't take any pictures with my family like I usually do. Next time though, for sure.

Breaking in the new seats at the just-renovated football stadium!!! Literally JUST. They were still working right up until ten minutes or so before I went up there.

And now I am caught up and have my camera back and Monday's (todays, haha so sad) will be back to normal! I hope...)

My camera is gone. :(

But it will come back! My roommate (the one who took my trash the dress pics), is gone for the weekend to shoot the pictures for her boyfriend's brother's wedding. Haha. I could probably completely re-work this sentence into something much better....but it's late and I don't want to. :P

Anyway, I'll be using her point and shoot for the weekend, which will be super different. I'm not even sure if her camera has a self-timer, which is how I take most of my pictures. It's a good thing I like challenges!

Haha I like this shot because it actually looks like I have a strong jaw here. Weird I know, but it's how I feel!

*Random note. I have been on a RIDICULOUS musical kick. I can't seem to stop looking up different musicals and playing the songs over and over again. It's going to drive my some of my friends (aka the video guys I hang out with) absolutely crazy soon!

My Green Blazer

It's actually my little sister's, but she's letting me borrow it for the semester. I rarely wear it since it is so far away from my normal style, and plus I really don't care for the color green all that much. But I chose to wear it today and all day long I got a lot of compliments as to how awesome it is. :) Wasn't really expecting it, but it sure made my day brighter! And with the weather, I definitely needed it. Here is my favorite shot, rocking it out in the rain!

I do love the rain, but not when I'm carrying about expensive stuff. So while I should have taken my picture earlier in the day, or when I went out for ice cream with my good friend Kevin, I didn't. But I think I did a good job of embracing my surroundings later during the night. Oh! And for another picture of the green blazer, click here. *More trash the dress pics to come! 

Sun Flare!

So apparently the weather was supposed to be awful for the entire week. But I got out of my 7:40 class this morning and the clouds were breaking while the sun was starting to shine through. By the time I left school it was quite warm! And I hit my balcony with the most perfect timing. Check out the amazing sun flare. :)

I really couldn't resist trying to do something so completely out of the norm. No one would ever attempt a roundhouse kick in a water-laden wedding dress...except for me! Not as intense as I was going for, but I still like it.
